It's much more than just about remain or leave - let's not forget that.
If there's one thing to remember when voting it's that there's a bigger picture here beyond Brexit. We are voting for someone, standing by a manifesto, to represent the people's sovereignty in parliament alongside other representatives.
Now you may have guessed it, yes I'm voting labour. Amongst many reasons it's mostly about supporting a party that has pledged better funding for public services, ending austerity and inequality.
Now many fellow "remainers" (although I deplore the phrase as our political leanings go beyond one referendum 3 years ago) suggest Labour should go into a voting pact with the Liberal Democrats. This is utter madness.
Would any labour voter really vote for Jo Swinsons party? It would be supporting everything that their leader voted when in coalition (bedroom tax, disability allowence cuts, raising tuition fees, etc...).
It's also about giving everyone a final say not catching onto easy votes through revoking. Labour stand for a grander scale politics and truly stand for the many. Labour are offering the only sensible end to Brexit whilst respecting both remain and leave and at the same time offering real change.
The Lib Dems, under Swinson, only offer revoke and you know that under their current leadership they'll jump into bed with the Tories and shoot down labour at any chance.
We are already so divided and all over a single issue. We need to look at the bigger picture. Vote for the candidate you truly think will represent your views in parliament. Vote for a Party that will be in your interest.
This is a general election. People seem to forget that. You're voting for someone to represent you in parliament for 5 years. Are we really going to vote for our MPs on one single issue!? It's utter madness. It's much more than just about remain or leave.
